From the mountains of North Georgia, our bees did a great job this year on our Sourwood Honey crop. The Webb’s participated in their second World Honey Show, in Montpellier, France last fall sponsored by the World Beekeeping Congress, Apimondia. With 33 different countries represented and over 400 honey entries, their Sourwood Honey won top prize of “BEST HONEY IN THE WORLD” for a second time. The first World Honey Show was held in Dublin, Ireland in 2005 and the Webb’s Sourwood Honey also won the Gold Medal.
